BAME Experiences of Belonging and Living in Wales

This brand new publication from EYST Wales reports the findings of its All Wales BAME Survey undertaken during 2018 -19 to explore the experiences of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) people living in Wales. The report presents the views of 143 respondents from right across Wales, exploring the themes of Belonging, Community Safety and Cohesion, Accessing Services, Experiences of Racism, and how they feel about living in Wales. With both qualitative and quantitative date, the report illuminates the breadth and diversity of these experiences and also makes key recommendations to Welsh Government and other policy makers on how the needs of everyone living in Wales can be better met, and how cohesion can be maintained and increased as we enter the post-Brexit era in Wales.
